‘Dancing in the City’ Gets Underway Saturday Night with Former Las Cruces band Nosotros

Get ready to cumbia and salsa your Saturday night away in Downtown El Paso.

Dancing in the City will make its 2016 summer debut this Saturday evening at the Convention Center Plaza with the Latin band Nosotros kicking it off.

Originally from Las Cruces but now based out of Albuquerque, the nine-piece band is known for its tasty blend of rock, salsa, jazz and cumbia. Nosotros plans to turn the Convention Center Plaza into a big outdoor dance party beginning at 8 p.m.

The free outdoor concert series, which features live music performances from some of our area’s top dance bands, will take place on Saturday nights through July 23. A free group dance lesson will precede the live entertainment.
