Dad Makes the Most Amazing Halloween Costume For Disabled Son

Four-year-old Carter has spina bifida, a birth defect which affects the spinal canal, and because of his condition he uses a wheelchair to get around. Like all kids on Halloween, Carter wanted to go trick-or-treating. But rather than just dress him up in a store-bought costume and push him from door to door, his father customized his wheelchair and made it part of his costume, transforming it into "Buster’s Ice Cream" truck.

With Halloween just a few weeks away, the photo of Buster in his white uniform and tricked out wheelchair has again gone viral and given the story new life.  I don't about you, but the photo puts a smile on my face. Great costume, great story, great dad!
