On Christmas Eve, some children will be leaving Santa cookies and milk but these creative kids are planning to leave some interesting snacks.

As I wandered through the halls of the elementary school my mother works at, I see all these cute Christmas decorations lining the walls. They have all the traditional crafts I did when I was elementary school like the disfigured gingerbread men and funny versions of Rudolph with crazy eyes but these Christmas letters were too cute to pass by.

A few kids wanted to play it safe by leaving Santa his favorite snack, milk and cookies.

The other students in this Kindergarten class didn't stick to the traditional idea of a Santa snack, they decided to leave him some homemade dishes.

YUM! Santa better stop here and give this girl a coloring book for leaving carne asada! Who gets such a delicious meal for a coloring book? Only Santa!

Now these are some great treats! Sopapillas are delicious fried pastries and Champurrado is a chocolate-based warm Mexican drink. I'm even thinking of stopping by this house with the doll just for these desserts!

This girl is willing to trade Santa some tamales for a tablet. It seems like a fair trade.

Homemade bean burritos and agua de pina (pineapple water) is way better than milk and cookies any day!

This girl is so sweet just asking for a pretty doll and will reward Santa with tacos and frijoles. I really hope Santa grants her wish because most kids are asking for tablets and this little girl still likes the simple things like toys and tacos!

What is your child planning to leave for Santa? Is it just as unique? Send it to us!
