When the Cure released Greatest Hits in 2001, they included a bonus CD comprised of new acoustic performances of the same 18 songs. Now, there are reports that the band are preparing to release both records on vinyl picture discs for Record Store Day on April 22.

The news comes via the Cure fan site Chain of Flowers, who found since-removed listings for them on the Italian site for their label, Universal. However, there has been no official word from either the band or Record Store Day as to whether or not either album will be for sale.

We can add Acoustic Hits and Greatest Hits to the list of rumored Record Store Day releases, which includes a limited-edition exclusive record by the Dave Matthews Band. You can get more details here.
