BREAKING NEWS: lead singer of the Irish band The Cranberries, Dolores O'Riordan, has died.


Dolores O'Riordan was in London with her other band  D.A.R.K. recording and she passed away at her hotel, according to her publicist. Further details into her death are not known at this time. A representative for the band only said that she died "suddenly," and a statement given to the BBC said that:

"Family members are devastated to hear the breaking news and have requested privacy at this very difficult time."

The Cranberries is an Irish band that hit it big in the 1990's with their songs "Linger," "zombie" and others. We will give more information on her death as it becomes available.
