Celebrate Mom with Mariachi Los Arrieros This Thursday at ‘Cool Canyon Nights’

Mother’s Day isn't until Sunday, but that doesn't mean you can’t honor thy mother a few days earlier.

Spend some quality time this Thursday with the woman who gave you life at the return of 93.1 KISS-FM’s free summer concert series, Cool Canyon Nights.

Thursday, May 10, we're hosting a free Mother's Day performance from Mariachi Los Arrieros at McKelligon Canyon. The homegrown troupe has performed all over El Paso and the U.S., and shared the stage with the likes of Vicente Fernandez, Pepe Aguilar, and many others.

As an added treat, the first 100 mothers to arrive will receive a complementary floral stem courtesy of Kern Place Florist. If you really want to impress, consider upgrading M.O.M. to V.I.P. with reserved seating in the Star Lounge. The fun starts at 6 p.m. with free live music on the patio by Mariachi Estrella, plus beer, cocktails and food trucks in the cool shade of McKelligon Canyon Amphitheatre.

Cool Canyon Nights is family-friendly, and takes place every Thursday in the canyon -- weather permitting. All weekly performances feature popular local bands, and they are all free to see.
