Fred Loya's home isn't the only place you can see a free holiday light show. Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center will be lighting up the night in December too.

The medical school is holding its 5th Annual Cookies, Cocoa and Holiday Cheer celebration at its El Paso campus on Friday, Dec. 6, beginning at 6 p.m. A free holiday light show produced by the same company that helped Fred Loya create his annual award-winning Christmas spectacle will highlight the night.

Special guests include Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, the Grinch, and the Snowflake Princesses ( you know, like from the movie Frozen), according to the event press release.

The evening’s festivities, which will take place on the TTU lawn between the Medical Education and Medical Sciences buildings, will also include free photo opportunities with Santa, the Snowflake Princesses, and some of the other special guests. And, of course, there will be free cookies, hot cocoa, and holiday cheer for everyone.

Feel free to bring blankets and lawn chairs, and make sure your smartphone is fully charged and ready to capture all the memories you'll make with the kids.
