Concordia Cemetery To ‘Relive and Celebrate’ The Night John Wesley Hardin Was Killed
The John Wesley Hardin Secret Society will hold its annual 'Relive and Celebrate’ event that commemorates the fateful evening in August 1895 when the legendary gunfighter met his demise at the hands of Constable ‘Uncle’ John Selman.
Six Guns and Shady Ladies will be at the graveside of John Wesley Hardin on Saturday, August 20, at 6:00 p.m., to re-enact the infamous shooting. Paso Del Norte Paranormal Society will give short tours of Concordia. There will be giveaways and entertainment, so bring folding chairs, flash lights, wear closed toe shoes and hang out at the cemetery for a night of fun and El Paso history.
