June 3-5, Billy the Kid Festival: The annual festival celebrates Billy the Kid’s visit to San Elizario in 1876 to break out a friend from the old El Paso County Jail. Festivities include a reenactment of the historic breakout and Billy the Kid tales at the jail. More Info

June 4, Let Freedom Sing Music Festival: Tyler Farr kicks off the free Fort Bliss summer outdoor concert series. El Paso's Joe Barron opens. More Info

June 17-18, ‘Viva El Paso!’ Opening Weekend: The summer outdoor musical extravaganza chronicles the 400 year history of El Paso through song and dance, set against the backdrop of the Franklin Mountains in the picturesque McKelligon Canyon Amphitheatre. More Info
