The Austin-based chain Chuy's is bringing "authentic Tex-Mex" to our border. The quirky restaurant known for its fun and funky atmosphere -- like the wall of local dog photos, a hubcap-covered ceiling, and an Elvis shrine -- will be opening it's first El Paso location at the Fountains at Farah this summer.

Their thing with Elvis doesn't end with the shrine, either. Its menu features two plates that pay homage to the King, including the Elvis Green Chile Fried Chicken breaded with crushed potato chips, for heaven's sake!

Along with the Elvis dishes, the menu includes signature items like Big As Yo’ Face burritos, and Chicka-Chicka Boom-Boom Enchiladas. The fully-loaded nacho car, an unlimited build-your-own nacho station with chips, salsa, queso, ground sirloin and more will be part of its popular happy hour from 4 – 7 p.m. on weekdays.

Chuy's El Paso will open at the Fountains in June. It'll be located next to Kona Grill.
