Want festive yuletide photos for your Instagram? Looking for a real Christmassy background to Snapchat from?

Look no further than San Jacinto Plaza in downtown El Paso.

The “bigger, better and brighter” holiday lighting and decor includes more than 400,000 mini-lights adorning everyone of the 120 trees, and a new 30-foot artificial tree with 900 ornaments and 18,400 mini-lights.

Even the Afghan pine that has served as the city’s living Christmas tree for years has been tricked out with 455, 3ft falling snowflake light tubes.

Additionally, several 9-foot tall lighted displays in the shapes of a gift box, star and ornament, and a large walk-through tunnel have been added making the plaza one of the best, if not the best, place to take Christmas selfies.

If the plaza isn't enough picture-taking for you, just walk across the street to the Arts Festival Plaza down by the Plaza Theatre. There you'll find a 25-foot Christmas tree, and 6-foot snow globe — both offer great photo opportunities, but especially the life-size snow globe which you can pose inside of.

Both San Jacinto Plaza and the Arts Festival Plaza will remain decked out through the first week of the new year.
