Chicken of the Sea Recalls Canned Tuna

If you recently bought some canned tuna you may consider checking the UPC code before consuming.
Chicken of the Sea has voluntarily recalled over 100,000 cans of their 5-oz. chunk light tuna in water and chunk light tuna in oil. According to the Food and Drug Administration, the tuna might have been under cooked due to equipment malfunction. The Chicken of the Sea tuna cans were sold in stores nationwide between February 10 and March 16, 2016.
Although there have been no reported illnesses the company has chosen to voluntarily recall the cans.

• 3/02/19
• 3/03/19
