Fort Bliss and El Paso officials will be conducting an ‘active shooter incident’ training exercise at Chapin High School on March 12th from 8 a.m. to noon.

The exercise is designed to validate and improve the school response to a crisis situation. Emergency responders will simulate crime scenes and may treat volunteers who are simulated injured victims.

The scenario is NOT real, but officials will attempt to make it as realistic as possible to simulate the scenario of a shooter at Chapin High. Officials ask for residents to be patient while this very important drill is underway.
