The woman had a New Mexico medical marijuana license which permits her to grow the plants but, she went a little overboard.

Otero County Sheriff's officers seized 130 pot plants in Chaparral. Candace Wilson had a medical marijuana license to grow and use marijuana for medicinal purposes but, It expired in July. She also had more plants than she's allowed.

According to the El Paso Times, Wilson was charged with one count of fourth degree felony distribution of marijuana. Undersheriff Liliana Schnell told the EP Times:

“Wilson had 130 plants ranging in size from 18 inches to 12 feet growing in her backyard.” “Wilson previously had a medical cannabis license to grow and use marijuana for medicinal use, however her license expired in July.

The law says permit holders can have a maximum of four mature, flowering plants and up to 12 seedlings. Wilson went a little "big"...
