Sunday night, volunteer firefighters, EMT's and peeps from Chaparral (and far Northeast El Paso) are holding their annual parade of lights.

Fire trucks, including the Dona Ana Volunteer Fire Department's brand new truck, emergency vehicles and loads of private cars, trucks and motorcycles, make up the parade which raises toys for needy Chaparral kids. Each vehicle will be decorated with lots of lights and other decorations and the parade rolls after dark so, it's really cool to watch.

People line up to watch and cheer all along the route which starts at Lisa and Byrum. From there, the parade goes:

To enter, just be at Lisa and Byrum between 4:30 and 5:00 with two toys ... one for a boy and one for a girl ... and your decorated car, truck or bike!  Use lights, sound effects, wrapping paper, music, stuffed animals, etc, etc. Anything "Christmas-sy" goes so, go BIG!
