Chalk The Block Returns To Downtown El Paso For The Eighth Year

Chalk the Block will kick off its eighth year next month.

The sidewalk chalk art festival runs from Oct. 9-11, and is expecting over 40,000 people to attend.

Chalk the Block is one of the premiere downtown El Paso events, and it’s not only for local artists. Chalk artists from across the nation and other countries will be competing to “create the most innovative sidewalk chalk art.”

In addition to the chalk art, there will be a kid’s zone, and activities and exhibits at the El Paso Museum of Art and Museum of History.
