Calling all artists and vendors, The City of El Paso’s Museum and Cultural Affairs Department is now accepting applications for Chalk the Block.

Deadline for the submitting an application is August 29 by 6 p.m. with three categories open: Showcase,Emerging and Student. Artists must be 18 years-of-age or older and students must of high school age and be enrolled in school.

Space is limited so artists and vendors are asked to apply soon. Artist guidelines, online applications and vending requirements for arts and crafts and food vendors are available online at chalktheblock.com.

This year, the City of El Paso’s Museum and Cultural Affairs Department is celebrating the 10th annual anniversary of the largest public arts festival in the region during the weekend of October 6 through 8, 2017.
