Central El Paso will be hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony to unveil improvements to Logan Park, on Saturday, August 13, 2016.

The City of El Paso’s Parks and Recreation will unveil the latest improvements to Logan Park which include a new playground. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 13, at Logan Park located at 5500 Byron St.

The Logan Park improvements include:

  • A new playground
  • Landscaped area with trees
  • New water irrigation system
  • Three new LED light poles
  • New bike racks
  • Trash receptacles
  • Pet waste bag dispenser
  • Shade canopy
  • Park benches and swings

The project was funded through an approximate $490,000 Community Development Block Grant and is part of the City of El Paso’s commitment to enhance our community’s quality of life through the creation of recreational, cultural and educational environments.
