Celebrate Dia De Los Muertos With A Festival At Concordia Cemetery!

It’s A Day To Celebrate The Dead! Concordia Heritage Association will be hosting a special Day of the Dead festival from 4pm to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2, at Concordia Cemetery 3700 E. Yandell (between Stevens and Boone).
Dia De Los Muertos or Day of the Dead is a Mexican holiday celebrated throughout Mexico and around the world in other cultures, focusing on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have passed on.
This year’s Dia De Los Muertos Festival will feature select graves decorated for the occasion with lit candles, exhibits, fortune tellers, and booths will be set up with Dia de Los Muertos style alters, paranormal and Halloween items.

Everyone is invited and encouraged to dress up in costumes. Plus, they’ll have live music, guest speakers and much more.
Admission is $5 ($2 seniors, military and children under 12)
