Snowmageddon, Flood 2006, Hailstorm 2009...People love to name these crazy catastrophies and make them as dramatic-sounding as they were to experience. Sometimes it's funny, sometimes it's just overdone, but El Paso has had it's share of crazy catastrophic weather over the years.
Sometimes it seems like we're so isolated and alone here in El Paso, and no one ever gets out and really does anything that the rest of the world will notice.
This really isn't the case! There are tons of well-known people in different areas that are pretty well-known for what they've done! You probably know some of them and don't even realize they're originally from here!
We've compiled a short list, feel free to add your own list of famous El Pasoans to it!

What about thing to do outside? I know, you're thinking, "It's still a million degrees! Why would anyone go outside?"
I think if there's one thing we can all agree on, is that it's freakin' hot outside. Haven't been outside since you got to work? Wait til lunchtime and you have to get to the car to go eat.
Extra points if your shoes don't melt to the pavement.
And don't forget the weekends, where the kids will want you to take them out to go play somewhere. They may not notice the unbelievable heat, but you sure do!

So I was having lunch on Tuesday when I noticed a woman in a wheelchair at another table with her assistance dog lying calmly under the table. It kind of made me start to wonder, "Aside from assistant animals who can go most places, where could you take your furry kids? Are there any actual dog-friendly places around town other than parks?"
Why yes, yes there are!
So I thought I'd share some of what I've learned about El Paso's dog-friendly places!

So, it's a Saturday or Sunday and you're feeling like doing something fun with the kids. The problem is you don't want to spend a ton of money taking them to movies, lunch, dinner, kid entertainment places or amusement parks. That can get incredibly expensive!

You might be thinking to yourself, "Why do I need to have a bachelorette party?" Our answer: "Why let the boys have all the fun!"
Now, you don't have to hop on a plane to have a great bachelorette party, as there are really fun things you can do in El Paso! (It's a LOT cheaper than flying somewhere else to spend your money, too.)
