Every year around this time, El Paso lights up with tons of fantastic things to see and do with the entire family. From the Trans-Siberian Orchestra's annual Christmas show in the area, to the lighting of the big Christmas tree downtown, to local light shows!
The end of 2011 is near. We're all very sad, as it's been a great year for 93.1 KISS-FM! Before we wrap up the year and say goodbye to 2011 and hello to 2012, we thought we'd take a look back at some fun stuff from the year.
The Christmas season is right around the corner, and part of the fun of living in El Paso is getting to take part in the Christmas tree lighting ceremony in San Jacinto Plaza. The downtown plaza is currently being dressed in it's holiday finest with crews stringing lights and putting up the Christmas tree that all El Pasoans can share.
Businesses come and go everywhere. Sometimes they stay for a long time, but sometimes they have to go away for whatever reason. There have been so many stores and restaurants that have come through El Paso and vanished, but some of them we still miss.
