Catch UTEP Men’s Basketball Game On KFOX This Weekend

If you're a UTEP Miner basketball fan, there is some good news about this weekend's game. You won't have to leave your house to watch it. You can put on your fat pants, load up on chicken wings and guacamole, and have full access to your fridge with cold beer and your very own bathroom for breaks.

KFOX14 will be broadcasting the game along with their partner, Citywide Sports. The Miners will be playing the University of Texas San Antonio Roadrunners. Game time is 6:30 Saturday night. Matt Kaplowitz, brother of Steve Kaplowitz from our sister station, 600 AM ESPN El Paso, is the general manager of Citywide Sports. He says they want to bring more access to UTEP Athletics road games and they are continuing "to look for opportunities to provide more coverage for local sports as we move into 2018 and beyond.”

UTEP is not having the best season, and they are hoping that this three-game C-USA road swing will bring them some much needed wins.
