Camp Out at McKelligon Canyon This Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial Day is this weekend and what better way to celebrate than with and overnight camp out under the stars at McKelligon Canyon!

The City of El Paso Parks and Recreations Department invites El Pasoans to take part in an overnight camp out at McKelligon Canyon where families can learn how to properly set up a campsite along with a fun filled evening of storytelling, star gazing, hiking, archery, outdoor cooking tips and no camp out would complete without marshmallow roasting.

If you are interested in participating registration is $5 per child (17 years of age and younger) and $10 per adult (18 years of age and older), you will need the following:
