Camila Cabello’s new album is finally here! After departing from Fifth Harmony many Camila fans were left waiting in desperate anticipation to see what Cabello would gift us and if it would be worthy to sit in the gem pool of pop bops! Seeing that Crying In The Club, Camila’s first solo attempt at being amazing was a lukewarm “hit”, Havana was given space to be a cute radio single accompanied by decent performances and nice promo for our girl. Now that the album is finally here and available to buy and/stream it’s the perfect time for the reviews to start pouring in! You’re going to find quite a few mid tempo songs and some ballads but don’t expect any ridiculous club bangers or anything electronic or dancey sounding at all. Because of songs like She Loves Control and All These Years the record is passable. These two songs along with Havana and hearing Camila sing in Spanish a bit make the record a hit for Cabello. You’ll hear hints of tropical sounds and it’s almost as if Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber had a baby. Hear it for yourself as it’s available to buy and stream basically anywhere you can imagine and decide for yourself what grade Camilla deserves. For me, it’s a B- and that's me being very kind because although only a couple of songs stood out for me, the gems on this record slaaayyyyyy.
