Bruno Mars Taps Cardi B for Finesse

Bruno Mars has dropped a remixed version of his song Finesse featuring the current queen of rap, Cardi B! Cardi B isn’t so easy to digest for some of us but man has she grown on me in record time. Cardi is known for being a former exotic dancer who landed a role on a reality television show by dating famous men. Her song Bodak Yellow was one of the most popular songs of 2017 making her the first female since Lauryn Hill to have a #1 rap song on the Billboard Hot 100. Bruno Mars has been nominated for the Album of the Year awards for his record 24K Magic which will air on CBS on January 28th! We’ll have to wait and see if he can snag the award, but in the meantime we consider his collaboration with Cardi B brilliant marketing! Cardi is reminiscnet of Lisa Left-Eye Lopes in her delivery and the 90’s MotownPhilly vibe is the T! Watch the video for Finesse below:
