Love sure makes you do dumb things.

Case in point, a 20-year-old guy who dressed up as his girlfriend and tried to take a college entry exam in her place. Seems his honey was beyond stressed over a test you have to pass in Kazakhstan to get into college, so Ayan Zhademov stepped up by dressing in drag and taking the exam in her place.

According to published reports, test officials thought Zhademov, whose get-up included a long black wig, grey skirt, and white blouse, didn't look enough like the photo on his girlfriend's ID, and started questioning him.

"We suspected it might be another woman that had taken the candidate's place," a spokesman for the testing board explained. "But we never suspected it was a man that had taken her place. At least not until he started speaking." Zhademov's attempt at speaking in a high-pitched female-like voice made it obvious he was a man, baby, and it was game over for him.

The 20-year-old was fined the equivalent of 2 thousand U.S. dollars, and his girlfriend will have to wait until next year to take the national college entry exam. However, word of Zhademov's romantic gesture quickly spread, winning him fans who included a local businessman who offered to pony up half the fine.
