Former Bowie Bears are invited to help set a Guinness World record.

A group of Bowie High School alumni are trying to arrange the worlds largest high school reunion. They would like to have former Bears from every decade participate and already have one entry from a 1930's era graduate! Over 3,638 entries are needed to break the record. According to the El Paso Herald Post:

The Guinness World Record attempt is scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, November 11, at the Sun Bowl Stadium of the University of Texas at El Paso. The festivities will occur during the annual homecoming game between the Bowie Bears and their rivals the Jefferson Silva Foxes.
