Body Found on Interstate Near UTEP

Update: All lanes of I-10 West are now open at Porfirio Diaz

Police are reporting they have found a body on the westbound lanes of I-10 near UTEP.

Several people alerted police around 4:30 this morning to what they thought was a body near the Schuster exit. Westbound lanes near Porfirio Diaz have been shut down and police say it could take 3-4 hours before the area is opened again.

Police cannot say if the body is a man or a woman, but it appears to have been struck by vehicles several times.
