Updated Story: El Paso Police say the body of a woman discovered at an east El Paso home this morning, and the body of a man found behind the Cash Store in the 9400 block of Alameda are connected to the drive-by shooting of a police officer on North Loop last night.

Our news partner ABC7 is reporting the man, whose identity has not been released, shot the officer last night, then allegedly killed the woman in the home, and then committed suicide, according to EPPD.

Previous Story: El Paso Police have blocked off the Alameda Towne Center in the 9400 block of Alameda in the Lower Valley. Various news sources are reporting that a body was discovered behind one of the businesses.

It’s interesting to note that the shopping center is located 4 miles from the site of Monday night’s shooting of an El Paso police officer.

Earlier today, the body of a woman was discovered in an east El Paso home. According to the El Paso Times, police described the woman’s death as “suspicious.” Investigations into all three incidents are on-going.
