I turned 46 on Monday, and got my annual $100 check from my mom, and unless I win the 200 meeeeeelion Power Ball on Wednesday, it's the only money I'll get all year long that I'm conflicted about spending.

When you get your paycheck, you mentally know what it's already spent on - house payment, utilities, car payment, insurance, groceries, etc., etc., etc.  There's no real question about what you're going to do with that check.  But my birthday check has me in my annual quandry.

Do I spend it on a really expensive bottle of perfume, or do I buy groceries for the week?  I mean, the perfume would be great, but it really is outrageously expensive!

But it's my birthday present!

But I do like to eat......

What to do, what to do?
