Freedom Crossing at Fort Bliss wants kids to get a close up look at some of the biggest trucks Ft. Bliss and El Paso has to offer.

The open air shopping center will be hosting its annual Truck Town on Saturday, Feb. 24. The hands-on event will showcase over 30 big trucks kids can climb, honk the horn, and explore.

The lineup of trucks will be a mix of government, city, and business vehicles including military Strykers, a fire engine, monster truck, and the Ghostbusters’ slime van, according to the press release.

There’s also going to be a giant hot air balloon, animated entertainment characters, jumping balloons and inflatable racetrack rides, and many other kid-friendly activities.

And here’s the best part: admission is free, all activities are free, and all the entertainment is free. Pretty much all you have to pay for is what you want to eat and drink.

Truck Town 2018 is not just for soldiers and their families, either. Civilians are welcome, too. See below for more details or visit Freedom Crossing Facebook.
