Just days after speaking out on the senseless killings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile, Beyonce is using her celebrity platform to address violence in the United States once again.

Late Friday (July 8), Beyonce paid tribute to the officers slain during this week's Black Lives Matter demonstration in Dallas with a touching Instagram video featuring their individual names. In addition to the clip, the Lemonade performer also wrote a moving statement to the caption the visual, emphasizing that while police brutality against the black community (or anyone, for that matter) is not acceptable, neither is retaliatory violence against innocent officers.
