Beachgoers Form Human Chain to Save Drowning Boy
If your morning commute on public transportation has you convinced that all people are basically terrible, you need to watch this video. Right. Now.
12-year-old Josh McQuoid got pulled out to sea by a wave at Marine Beach in Napiers, New Zealand. The waves were so strong that they also made it impossible for Constable Paul Bailey to save him, at least on his own. Beachgoers quickly formed a human chain to act as an anchor for Bailey, who then pulled McQuoid to safety. It almost makes you not hate the person who was cutting their fingernails on the bus this morning.
