Basketball Player Fakes an Injury to Propose to His Girlfriend

Inspired by the movie “Love and Basketball,” Alex Johnson, a player in the National Basketball League of Canada, proposed to his honey Brey Dorestt during a one-on-one game against her.

Johnson pretended to sprain his ankle then made it look like he was trying to stand up, but stayed down on one knee before pulling out a ring one of his teammates had handed him on the DL.

She said yes.
