Tricia

I've been the co-host of the Mike and Tricia Mornings for the past 8 years, the longest running of Mike's on-air wives! My day starts with a muttered curse word when the alarm goes off at 3 a.m., but once that first morning pot of coffee kicks in, I'm raring to go and entertain our listeners! I'll let you know when that finally happens! I'm happily married to Darren Hunt, mom to Ryan and Sam, grandmother to 4 beautiful little girls, and part of a huge family who loves to hang out eat, talk, and argue politics - kind of like what I do on the show! When asked what the best part of my job is, I always say, it's the listeners. You've gotten me through Ryan's 3 deployments, been patient with me during the ballpark controversy, and been so nice to me all these years! Thanks for listening!

Donate Blood This Weekend – You Could Win A Harley Davidson

Donate blood this weekend, and you could win a Harley Davidson motorcycle!  United Blood Services and Barnett Harley Davidson of El Paso and Las Cruces are teaming up for their 16th Annual Blood Drive, and this year, they need your help more than ever.  Blood supplies are dangerously low in the El Paso/Las Cruces area.  Over 200 pints are needed to cover just the daily needs of the hospitals in the area that UBS supplies, and they aren't sure if they can hit that goal.

The campus of UTEP is a pretty unique American university campus.  The Bhutanese style of architecture is carried throughout the campus, but who decided to use that style of architecture?  Turns out, it was the wife of the first dean of the school, and her inspiration was a National Geographic magazine article.

Top 3 Words That Should Be Banished From The English Language – Or, At The Very Least, Used Correctly

Lake Superior State University has come out with their 39th annual list of words that should be banished from the English language. They took nominations on their website and came up with a list that included 'twerking', and 'selfie'. While I agree with the list, there are a few words that I would like to ban, but not because they bug me, but because no one uses them correctly.
