During my UTEP years, I was in need of a media internship. I was taken in by Townsquare Media, where I learned about the radio and digital world. Here I gained experience by joining the KLAQ & KSII morning show teams. This was where I was given the nickname of Intern Emily, which still haunts me to this day. I have moved on up in life to the Digital Managing Editor position, where I hope to build a successful career in the media industry, so I can give my cat's the life they deserve.
