Alex Chavez

I started at KISS FM at the ripe old age of 20 years old.  In the time that I've been fortunate enough to be a part of this wonderful station, I've worked my way up from volunteer to promotions guy and eventually to the ultimate position of part time weekend DJ!  Some people would say that I haven't quite grown up yet (they're right) and I've found that I am unable to fully hide my inner dork (sorry).  Feel free to post on my page and ask any questions you may have!

Enjoy this fun Father's Day song courtesy of the magical and sometimes scary place known as the internet.  Remember kids, this song is NOT a tutorial.

I set my alarm for 4:30 a.m. this past Saturday morning so I can make it out for the first day of this years Balloonfest.  While I'll admit to spending the first 30 minutes of my day getting reacquainted with every curse word I know, my mood quickly changed once I made it out to the TFCU launch field.  You still have one more morning to make it out the launch.  You won't regret it!

Epic Fail – Canadian Singing Star Spangled Banner Edition

Canadian Alexis Normand was asked to sing the Canadian and American national anthems at a junior hockey tournament.  While I'm sure she nailed her home country's song, she didn't fair quite so well when it came time to belt out the Star Spangled Banner.  The crowd was nice enough to step in and help her out instead of booing her.

I posted a question on our Facebook page yesterday asking what our listeners would like to see done with the former Asarco smokestacks site.  The overwhelming answer was an amusement park, Six Flags being the most popular choice.  Here are a few more interesting answers from our listeners.
