Stolen diamonds, double-crosses, and maybe a Mimosa or two. If that sounds like a plan then I have just the place.

If you like your movies classic and your brunch fancy (but not in a snobby kind of way) consider a chill afternoon kickback this weekend at this month’s Sunset Film Society’s Classic Film Presentation at Ardovino’s Desert Crossing.

Sunday, November 20, life long film fan, historian and collector Jay Duncan is screening the late '80's heist comedy A Fish Called Wanda starring Monty Python legends John Cleese and Michael Palin, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Kevin Kline in his hilarious Academy Award winning role.

The movie will get underway at 12 noon in the Sunset Hall at Ardovino’s Desert Crossing, 1 Ardovino Drive, in Sunland Park, NM.

It’s free to see, but reservations are recommended. Call 575-589-0653 extension 3 if you’re down to watch. An a la carte brunch will be available for purchase
