Ann Coulter Says ‘Real Americans’ Hate Soccer

Do you like Major League Soccer? Conservative loudmouth Ann Coulter says if you do, you’re not a ‘real American’.

Soccer is something that, for the most part, is played on a small scale here in the States, but every four years, Americans seem to catch a big case of World Cup Fever, and this year, it’s even hotter. Millions of Americans have crowded into streets, bars, and homes to watch America’s team advance in this worldwide sporting event.

But all this World Cup Fever has Ann Coulter hot under the collar. She wrote a column that says the “growing interest in soccer can only be a sign of the nation's moral decay." She said soccer isn’t a real sport because "there are no heroes, no losers, no accountability." Coulter went on to say "If more 'Americans' are watching soccer today, it's only because of the demographic switch effected by Teddy Kennedy's 1965 immigration law. I promise you: No American whose great-grandfather was born here is watching soccer. One can only hope that, in addition to learning English, these new Americans will drop their soccer fetish with time."

Wow. What is the name for a female d-bag? Whatever it is, that would be Ann Coulter.

And judging from the reaction on Twitter to Coulter’s nonsense, a lot of other people think she’s one, too!
