It's been more than a year since 'Two and a Half Men' star Angus T. Jones left the show because it clashed with his religious beliefs.

Back in 2012, Jones went on a rant, calling the sitcom "filth." Recently, (March 16) he opened up to KHOU 11 about his decision to part ways with the show, and the criticism he fired toward it. After discovering his faith, Jones even went so far as to ask viewers to stop watching the show.

“It was making light of topics in our world where there are really problems for a lot of people,” Jones said. “And I was a paid hypocrite because I wasn’t OK with it and I was still doing it.”

While he stands by his decision to leave the show, the actor is sorry for indirectly attacking creator Chuck Lorre.

“That’s his like baby and I just totally insulted his baby and to that degree I am apologetic but otherwise I'm not,” said Jones. "I don't regret saying what I said."

The now-bearded Jones currently attends school in Colorado and continues to preach his faith.
