Alicia Keys Chops Off Her Hair

Alicia Keys has chopped off her curly cues. Buh-bye, long, lush locks! Hello angled bob!

Keys tweeted a composite image of several photos showing off  her newly shorn locks, writing: ” Look what I done did!!;-))) its an ‪#aknewday‬ in EVERY way!!!!;-))) ” We love her hashtag of #aknewday. It’s rife with double meaning and makes use of her initials, too. It’s AK’s New Day in more way than one.

The singer and mom is clearly happy with her new coif, judging from all the exclamation point punctuation and smiley face emoticons in her tweet. The composite image shows Keys’ new cut styled with her natural curls; blown sleek and straight into an angled chin-length bob; and even some of her lobbed off hair on the floor.
