78-Year-Old's First Roller Coaster Ride

I’ll admit it, watching the news got me down this week. It felt like bad things just kept happening. This video of a woman on her very first roller coaster ride helped turned my frown upside down.

When I came across this clip, I expected to see a nervous woman who couldn’t wait for the ride to end. Instead, I saw excitement, bravery and coolness in the face of a new adventure.

I love how Granny’s biggest concern at the end of the ride was, “Is my hair still OK?”

Here’s to you, young lady, for proving that age really is nothing but a number.
