Adele played her first live show on U.S. soil since 2011 at New York City's legendary Radio City Music Hall last month, and NBC finally aired the highly anticipated special Adele Live in New York City — One Night Only last night (December 14).

After a brief introduction from Jimmy Fallon (“We’re here to see a once-in-a-generation artist”), Adele kicked off the show -- appropriately -- with the massive “Hello,” which was met with major applause. A visibly relieved Adele (she hit every one of those notes) told the audience: “I’m so nervous, I was trying to find the nearest exit before I came down. I haven’t done a show in four years! Thank you so much for coming."

Adele taped the special on November 17, three days ahead of 25’s release and subsequent record-breaking chart performance. She played old staples ("Someone Like You," "Rolling in the Deep") but also treated the crowd to a slew of then-new songs, like "Million Years Ago" and the Bruno Mars-penned "All I Ask."
