A Taste of El Paso Preview – Rulis International Kitchen
Best Lunch Ever!
I had the pleasure of dining at Rulis’ International Kitchen yesterday and got a preview of what they will be serving at A Taste of El Paso.
Imagine if you will the most perfect Pulled Pork Sliders that you’ve never had. A pile of hickory smoked pork shoulder basted in a semi-sweet toreado teriyaki sauce topped with Asian slaw, and served with cilantro aioli and a jalapeño toreado. It was just the perfect combination of sweet and spicy…simply delicious.
I also sampled Ruli’s Vegetarian Ceviché, which has absolutely no shrimp or fish but you’d never know it, instead they use nori (seaweed) which was a pleasant surprise and served up with house chips.
Ruli’s International Kitchen never disappoints – I love the atmosphere, the staff, and they always make you genuinely feel at home.
Two great dishes that you will be able to sample at A Taste of El Paso on November 14th & 15th – I can’t wait!
