A Big Event Coming to Las Cruces for Great Cause

The BIG EVENT (La Gran Fiesta), will celebrate southern New Mexico's traditions, the great people and of course, GREAT FOOD!  It will be held at the New City Plaza, in Cruces for FREE, on September 23, 24, and 25 starting at 5pm.   Vendors will be in full force from food to drinks including a beer tent, fashion shows, mariachis and bands, oh lets not for folklorico dancers.  Get ready for the Lumbre Chile Eating Competition, The Big Event Pageant, and the Roberto's Mexican Food Tasting Contest, vying for the title of having the best tasting enchilada for 2016!!!

The entire event benefits CARE, Cancer Aid Resource & Education, which financially assist local cancer patients in Las Cruces and Dona Ana County.  They are dedicated to assisting in services, resources, general education, and other additional services to help children and adults, face while receiving treatment for any type of cancer with no cost to the local cancer patients.
