93.1 KISS FM’s Great Purse Giveaway Event Most Exciting In Contest History

Sunday, December 17, is a day that will live in infamy here at KISS FM. It was the day of our grand prize Great Purse Giveaway event and it turned into the most drama-filled contest giveaway event EVER.

KISS staff and listeners filled Johnson Jewelers at 5860 N Mesa to check out the brand new, brand name purses that were stuffed with all kinds of goodies. We had amazing Dooney Bourke bags, including one that I would have knocked someone over to get:

When we gave the go-ahead for winners to go through their purses and see if they had won the grand prize of a Disney cruise for four, little did we know that our station elves had hidden the Mickey Mouse sticker that signaled the win so well. It took almost five minutes for our winners to find the hidden Mickey, and our winner was Bernice Santillano. Not only did Bernice win the cruise, she also won an amazing $999 diamond pendant from Johnson Jewelers. It was presented by none other than Randy Johnson himself, who was looking pretty festive with his Christmas-themed suit:
