Vance Joy brought his Nation of Two tour to El Paso on April 24th to the Plaza Theatre and I had a chance to sit down with him to chat about his tour and how he has a connection to El Paso (doesn’t everyone) and he also patiently introduced me to my first ever ukulele lesson.

James aka Vance Joy was a sheer pleasure to meet – he was extremely humble and such a down to earth guy who at the end of the day loves to make music and loves all his fans and that was most apparent when he smiled on stage as his adoring fans cheered and sang along to every one of his songs.
