3 El Paso Teens Hospitalized After Possibly Smoking ‘Spice’
If you are a parent, there is a very important talk you need to have with your kids about a drug called ‘spice’. Three El Paso teens are in the hospital after they allegedly took spice. One is in critical condition.
The two sophomores and one freshman, who all attend Riverside High School, were at an off-campus parking lot when they began foaming at the mouth and having seizures.
Students told ABC7 that the parking lot is known as a place where students go to smoke spice.
Emergency crews did not confirm that it was spice that was being used by the students who fell ill.
One of the students is in critical condition. The conditions of the other two are not known.
Spice is a synthetic form of marijuana illegal under Texas law.
