The schedule is set for one of El Paso’s most celebrated holiday traditions – the annual Downtown Christmas tree lighting ceremony and parade. This year’s 80th Celebration of Lights will happen this Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015.

Downtown El Paso will play host to a full day of holiday entertainment beginning with a Holiday Market  at noon and culminating in the early evening with a spectacular fireworks display and a Christmas parade featuring floats and walking groups all tricked out in colorful lights.

Celebration of Lights Holiday Market

The Downtown Art and Farmer's Market takes over the Pedestrian Pathway next to Southwest University Park from Santa Fe to Durango streets with a Holiday Market from noon to 8 p.m. More than 60 local artists and craftsman will be selling their wares along the pathway surrounded by live entertainment, and food trucks.

Celebration of Lights

Because the San Jacinto Plaza project is not yet complete, festivities will once again take place at Cleveland Square, across from the ballpark between the El Paso Museum of History and the El Paso Library.
