2014 Alfresco! Fridays Season Lineup + New Downtown Location Announced

The 2014 season lineup of the popular Alfresco! Fridays free music series has been announced. The series will once again feature fresh-air performances from local bands playing various genres of music on Friday evenings, but the location will be different. It will still remain downtown, but beginning this year the free concerts will take place at the Convention Center Plaza in front of the Convention Center and Abraham Chavez Theatre.

The fun starts May 2 and will run through mid-September. All shows will be on Fridays, begin at 6 p.m., and feature El Paso favorites such as Fungi Mungle, Radio La Chusma, Brown Betty, Sha’ Vonne, and Azucar – a total of 19 free concerts in all.

•Aug. 8: Windy City (Chicago tribute band)

•Sept. 5: Prime 80's Xperience (80s)
